अमिताभ बच्चनसँगको सिनेमा छोडिन् परिणितीले
Posted by: Unknown Posted date: 3:51 PM / comment : 0 Bollywood

My mom, sister and wife are my superwomen: Hrithik Roshan
Posted by: Unknown Posted date: 9:36 PM / comment : 0 Bollywood
"I don't think I need a superwoman in real life because I have my mother (Pinky), wife (Sussanne) and sister (Sunaina). They are my superwomen and I'm glad to have them in my life. They hold a very special place and I don't want anyone else to replace it," Hrithik told reporters here Monday.
He was speaking at the meet-and-greet event organized to celebrate the success of "Krrish 3", which has reportedly minted over Rs.200 crore worldwide.
When asked how it makes him feel to play a superhero, he said: "Being a superhero is like playing any one of us because we all have it inside us. It has been a great journey for me and I learnt a lot by playing the character."
"I have learnt about several values a superhero posses and his service to the world. Even if we have five percent of those values, we can make the world a nicer place to live," he added.
Rakesh Roshan-directed and produced "Krrish 3", which also features Kangana Ranaut, Priyanka Chopra and Vivek Oberoi in important roles, has done exceptionally well in Tamil Nadu as well.
Vijay in awe of Hrithik in 'Krrish 3'
Posted by: Unknown Posted date: 9:33 PM / comment : 0 Bollywood
Vijay was to meet Hrithik Roshan on Monday here but he couldn't as he was busy wrapping upcoming Tamil action-drama "Jilla".
"Vijay sir recently watched 'Krrish 3' with his family and loved it. He was in awe of Hrithik and the amount of hard work he had put in to perform the stunts in the film. He said that he hasn't watched a better adventurous Indian film in a long time," Vijay's agent P.T Selvakumar told IANS.
"He wanted to meet Hrithik and personally congratulate in a public gathering. Unfortunately, he was busy shooting for 'Jilla', and, therefore, couldn't make it," he added.
Hrithik, Rakesh Roshan and cinematographer Tirru were in the Tamil Nadu capital Monday to celebrate the success of "Krrish 3", which has been received very well in the state as well.
Rakesh Roshan-directed and produced "Krrish 3" reportedly minted over Rs.200 crore at the box-office. It also features Vivek Oberoi, Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut.
Amitabh Bachchan
Posted by: Unknown Posted date: 9:30 PM / comment : 0 Bollywood
Birth Name: Amitabh Harivansh Srivastav
He is known as the Angry Young Man who defined his career and epitomized the moral heart of the Indian nation.
Much as Amitabh is still celebrated for his wide-ranging performances as romantic hero, dramatic lead, comedian and now elder statesman. Undoubtedly it can be said that Amitabh still rules the Bollywood industry.
Date of Birth: 11 October 1942, Height: 6' 2" (1.88 m)
Biography:
He completed his education from Uttar Pradesh and moved to Bombay to find work as a film star.
He was successful in being cast in Saat Hindustani. Though the film didn't fare well at the box office, Bachchan won his first National Film Award for Best Newcomer.
He got his break in Bollywood after a letter of introduction from the then Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi, as he was a friend of her son Rajiv Gandhi.
This is how Amitabh made an entry in Bollywood, starting with Zanjeer, co-starred with his future wife-to-be Jaya Bhaduri, and since then there has been no looking back.
After a four year break, he was back in the unsuccessful Mrityudaata (1997), a comeback which the actor wanted to forget. Critics written him off but his career was saved with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (1998).
But four flops in 1999 and incurring debt of over 90 Crores rupees of his sinking company ABCL saw him at an all-time low. To make matters worse, after the defeat of the Congress party, Amitabh lost considerable political support, the opposition made him a target, and his credit rating deteriorated to such an extent that a leading nationalized bank, Canara Bank, sued him for outstanding loans.
He did bounce back, presenting the Indian version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire called "Kaun Banega Crorepati?" (2000). After a series of hits with Mohabbatein (2000), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... (2001) and Baghban (2003) and his most recent Khakee (2004), a 60 plus Bachchan is showing no signs of slowing down and proving the critics wrong once again.
In November 2005, Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to Lilavati Hospital's ICU to undergo surgery for diverticulitis of the small intestine.
Currently he is all set with Prakash Jha's film Aarakshan which is due for release.
Personal Life:
For a better part of his career as a leading man, Amitabh Bachchan could not avoid the unwanted focus that the media trained on his relationships. Of the three lead actresses who figure right at the top of his list of most regular co-stars - Rekha, Parveen Babi and Jaya Bhaduri - his name was romantically linked to two. The Amitabh and Jaya marriage was the culmination of a longish courtship. The rumours of an extra-marital affair swirled around Amitabh until the early 1980s, when Yash Chopra pulled off a major casting coup in Silsila.
His loyalties towards Jaya didn't bend after his accident on the set of the film Coolie. Their family shares a strong bond now. .
He married Jaya Bhaduri, an actress in her own rights, he has two kids, Shweta and Abhishek. Shweta has been married, lives a non-filmy life and has a child. Abhishek is married to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Personal Life:
On 2 June 2007 a Faizabad court ruled that he had legally acquired agricultural land designated specifically for landless Dalit farmers. After receiving a positive verdict, Amitabh Bachchan intimated to Maharashtra government that he did not wish to surrender his land in Maval tehsil of Pune district.
In January 2008 at political rallies, Raj Thackeray, the chief of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, targeted Amitabh Bachchan, asserting that the actor was "more inclined" towards his native state than Maharashtra. On 23 March 2008, more than a month and half after Raj's remarks, Amitabh finally spoke out in an interview to a local tabloid saying, "Random charges are random; they do not deserve the kind of attention you wish me to give."
Box Office Collection:
Paa: Rs 39 Crores (Total Gross Collection)
Bbuddah...Hoga Terra Baap: Rs 10 crores (Total Gross Collection)
Fashion:
The man who redefined the 'white beard' in the industry has most definitely a style that speaks for itself. After the success of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Amitabh Bachchan' s style achieved prominence. The Black and Blue suits he created a style statement. For there on, he bagged many roles and portrayed many different looks.
During his initial days of his career, style wasn't as defined as it is now. But he still made style statement with long bell bottom trousers and loud colored shirts. His white beard added a charm to his personality making him look "larger than life". Bachchan's style truly speaks about his individuality.

"We wanted to release 'Krrish 3' in 3D format but we didn't have the time for it. Moreover, I dropped the idea because I didn't want to give a bad product. I will only make a 3D film when I'm certain that the output will be good," Rakesh told IANS.
"I don't want to make a film in 3D just because people want to watch. Only when I know I will get it right, will I try using the format," he added.
The third instalment in the "Krrish" franchise, also starring Priyanka Chopra, Vivek Oberoi and Kangana Ranaut, has reportedly minted over Rs. 200 crore at the worldwide box office.

Miley Cyrus lights up a joint and Amsterdam at MTV awards
Posted by: Unknown Posted date: 9:37 PM / comment : 0 Bollywood
The evening?s biggest winner was hip-hop icon Eminem who took home two awards, but Cyrus, 20, kept the spotlight firmly on herself after kicking off the show by twerking with a latex-clad dwarf called Little Britney.
Thanking the director of her hit single ?Wrecking Ball? for the award, Cyrus took to the stage in a tight white body suit and platform heels and said: ?I don?t have room for the award in my bag but I did find this??
She then took what appeared to be a half-smoked joint out of her Chanel bag and lit it up at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, where you can buy cannabis in the city?s coffee shops and where Cyrus had been photographed earlier with Dutch DJ Afrojack.
?I?d like to thank Terry Richardson for putting this together,? said Cyrus, a self-confessed weed smoker.
The world?s pop glitterati descended on Amsterdam for the event, with Eminem putting in a surprise performance by stepping out of a giant boombox afer winning the Global Icon and Hip Hop awards.
Canada?s Justin Bieber won the Best Male award for the fourth year running, and thanked his fans in a pre-recorded video message.
The UK?s One Direction won the award for Best Pop, and US singer Beyonce won Best Live, with both also saying a cursory thanks in a pre-recorded video.
Norwegian Internet sensation and comedy duo Ylvis performed their hit ?The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?), which has clocked over 200 million views on YouTube in the last two months, wearing matching fox outfits with long tails on an otherwise galactic-themed night.
China?s Chris Lee (Li Yuchun) won the ward for Worldwide Act, the thrid year that an Asian artist has won the award.
Talent show winner Lee thanked the audience and ?all the people who love Chinese music? as she accepted the award, wearing thigh-length leather boots and beating off competition from the likes of South Korea's Exo and Morocco's Ahmed Soultan.
US actor and singer Jared Leto attempted a moment's silence in memory of the victims of Typhoon Haiyan, which may have killed over 10,000 people over the weekend, but was overwhelmed by whistles and screaming.
The evening?s MC Redfoo hailed Eminem as ?truly an icon,? who has sold over 80 million albums and won 11 MTV video music awards and 13 Grammies since 1999.
?Wow, this is crazy. Thank you to everybody for everything over the years, I love award, I love award, I love math,? Eminem said.
?I was just sitting back there sipping champagne looking at all those amazing artists, thinking how am I gonna win?? US singer Katy Perry said after winning the award for Best Female.
The event held a ?satellite? party with DJ Afrojack at famed Amsterdam venue the Melkweg, featuring a special guest performance by hip-hop veteran Snoop Dogg, rapping through a glove-shaped diamante-encrusted microphone.
Organisers said that the show at the Ziggo Dome required at least 30 litres of body paint, 20 litres of liquid latex and 20 kilos of glitter.
The MTV Europe Awards are held each year in a different European city, with past hosts including Frankfurt in 2012, Belfast in 2011 and Madrid in 2010.
Next year?s event will be held in Glasgow, Scotland.
Bigg Boss 7: “Gauahar Khan and Kamya Punjabi are the bitches of the house”, says evicted contestant Candy Brar

Bigg Boss 7

After spending 2 weeks inside the glass walled house, Candy is the latest contestant to have been eliminated from Bigg Boss 7. We caught up with her and here is what she has to say…
Candy Brar (ex-flame of Kushal Tandon) was brought into the Bigg Boss 7 house to add some zing to Kushal and Gauahar Khan’s love story. But unfortunately, before she entered the house, the infamous Kushal- VJ Andy tamashaa took place following which Tandon was dismissed from the glass walled house.
Candy has been eliminated from the show this week. We caught up with her to get our dose of inside gossip from the Bigg Boss 7 house and here is what she has to say…
How was your experience inside the Bigg Boss house?
Experience was very nice. I made some really good friends but there is so much of negativity that has developed inside the house which makes it really difficult to stay there. From past two three days, I had been wanting to leave the house very desperately and now that I am out, I am really very happy.
But did you expect to come out of the house this soon?
Of course I was expecting to be evicted this week. See I am not a person who want to get into fights and give the content for the show and I am not a on camera face. I am not someone who has a huge fan following. So a person like me, needs a lot of time to connect to the masses. If I would have been inside the house from the very beginning, it obviously would have been really different. So maybe that’s the reason I was evicted.
What was your motive behind accepting Bigg Boss?
All thanks to Vivek (Mishra). He took my name in a argument with Kushal (Tandon) and many people outside began to ask me several questions. Also Vivek had made some personal remarks against me on national television, so I entered the house to clear my name and keep my point. But unfortunately, both Kushal and Vivek had left the show by the time I entered the house.
Do you think Bigg Boss would have been more fun for you if Kushal was there inside the house?
It’s nothing like that yaar. We have been good friends. I don’t know why this thing was blown out of proportion. He knows my family and I know his family. We are not the best of buddies anymore but yes we are still sort of ‘good friends’.
How was your equation with Gauahar? How is she as a person according to you?
She has been very good to me at least. I don’t know about others.
There were rumours that makers of Bigg Boss are calling Kushal back into the house but he has said that he will come back only if you leave the house. Do you think that’s the reason behind your eviction?
(Laughs…for thirty two seconds to be specific) I don’t think it’s like that. Its just that I got very loss votes from the public and I was evicted.
It was quite evident that romance was in the air between Kushal and Gauahar. Do you think their relationship will last even outside the house?
I really would not like to comment on this. It’s their life and I want to stay away.
If you would have been in Gauahar’s place, will you have returned to the house?
I really wouldn’t have come back. She took a stand and she should have stick to her stand.
If you were given the power to eliminate one person from the house right now then who would it be?
It has to be Ajaz (Khan) because he is playing very dirty inside the house.
Who according to you are the most bitchy people inside the Bigg Boss house?
Ummm. From what I have noticed Kamya and Gauahar are always gossiping. They sit in one corner and bitch about people for hours which is not good. So both of them are the bitches of the house. They shouldn’t discuss so much.
Who are your favorite people inside the house?
Armaan (Kohli) and Tanishaa Mukherji). I have known Armaan for almost 10 years now. He was one of my first friends when I came to Bombay. I know he is short tempered but he is really a good hearted person. And Tanishaa is a very balanced person. She is a very sweet girl. She is one of the best people in the house.
Is Kajol getting ready for a new film? View pics!

These pictures of the Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge star go perfectly with Kajol’s quote on the cover: “I thought I was the best. I still do.” And we vouch for that. She is all sexy seductress in a black gown and a sensuous babe in a peach dress. And then there is the quintessential Indian beauty who sizzles in a pastel saree. BollywoodLifers, do you think it’s time for Kajol to make a comeback to the big screen?
And who could she be paired with – her hubby Ajay Devgn in a home production? Or will it be a Karan Johar film opposite Shahrukh Khan? We’ll have to wait and watch…..
Krrish 3 box office collections: Hrithik Roshan’s film enters the Rs 200 crore club!
Posted by: Unknown Posted date: 8:05 PM / comment : 0 Bollywood
Looks like the Roshans have a roshnidaar Diwali this year. Buzz is that Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 3 has collected over Rs 200 crore on the seventh day after release. Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted, “@Krrish3 collects 13.44 Cr on day 7. Domestic Total 166.52 cr. Overseas 36 cr. Worldwide 202.42 cr.”
With this achievement, Hrithik Roshan has joined Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan in a very special place. Aamir’s 3 Idiots and SRK’s Chennai Express are a part of the Rs. 200 cr club already. Though the Hrithik-Priyanka Chopra-Kangna Ranaut-Vivek Oberoi starrer has made over Rs 200 cr now, King Khan’s film retains its position as the fastest film to reach the Rs 100 cr mark, doing it in just in four days. Krrish 3 pushed past the Rs 100 cr limit on the fifth day of its release.
Well, papa Rakesh Roshan had aspired to establish a Rs 1000 cr club with his latest film, remember? And with Krrish 3 on a record-breaking spree, we wouldn’t be surprised if Hrithik – using his superhero powers, of course – actually manages to achieve that goal. Fingers crosse

The day of surprises doesn’t end there for the Murder actor. Rohit connects Mallika to her family and friends in Haryana. But when Mallika turns around, she sees her Maasi (mom’s sister), bhabhi (brother’s wife) and best friend waiting to greet her. Apparently the actor will be meeting them after 12 long years.

All in all, it was Mallika’s best birthday ever, claims the actor. And we’ll agree!
Mallika Sherawat to go on a vacation with The Bachelorette India winner Vijay Singh

“We are planning to spend some time together off camera to understand each other,” said Singh, who is from Dharamsala. They might take a holiday in this picturesque Himalayan hill station, which has lured hundreds of thousands of from the West and Hollywood stars like Richard Gere since Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama settled here in 1960.
“I am planning to return to my hometown (Dharamsala) for a few days Nov 14,” Singh said over phone from Pune.
Mallika‘s search of a soulmate came to an end Friday in the dating reality TV show The Bachelorette India – Mere Khayalon Ki Mallika, aired on Life OK, after the actor chose Singh as the king of her heart.
Singh, 24, the youngest among seven siblings, said in the finale episode of the show: “From now on I will always be there for you. I will do whatever I can to keep you happy.” Singh, who became Mallika’s dream man after defeating 29 contestants, said Mallika is heading to Los Angeles for a shooting schedule soon.
“After her return to India, we are likely to go for a holiday. It can be of 10 days or more. Even during the shooting of the show, we got enough time to understand each other,” he said, adding “she can even come to Dharamsala for a holiday break”.
But Singh’s eldest sister Usha, who is settled here, said he is still too young to think about taking this newfound relationship with Mallika to another level.
“Choosing a soulmate at this point in time is too immature. That was in screen only, not in real life. He still has miles to go,” she said on being asked about his marriage plans.
Before working for this reality show, Singh, who passed graduation from a local college, was a TV anchor. ”Since his school days, he has an interest in modelling and fashion designing. He prefers to spend most of his time in a gym,” she added.
Singh, whose father retired from Himachal Pradesh’s directorate of health, pipped Karan Sagoo, an NRI restaurant owner from London, in the final round of the TV show.

The woman was in bed with her lover and had just told him how stupid her Irish husband was when the door was thrown open and there stood her husband. He glared at her lover and bellowed, "What are you doing?" "There," said the wife, "didn't I tell you he was stupid?"

What's the definition of a pessimist? A pessimist is a well-informed optimist.

Mark called in to see his friend Angus (a Scotman) to find he was stripping the wallpaper from the walls. Rather obviously, he remarked "You're decorating, I see." to which Angus replied "No. I'm moving house."

One day an Englishman, a Scotsman, and an Irishman walked into a pub together. They each bought a pint of Guinness. Just as they were about to enjoy their creamy beverage, three flies landed in each of their pints, and were stuck in the thick head. The Englishman pushed his beer away in disgust. The Scotsman fished the fly out of his beer, and continued drinking it, as if nothing had happened. The Irishman, too, picked the fly out of his drink, held it out over the beer, and started yelling, "SPIT IT OUT, SPIT IT OUT YOU BAS**RD!!!!"
